| Beware against divisive forces: UKF | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 22 United Kashmiryat Forum (UKF) has cautioned against the divisive forces dead bent to keep the violence simmering in Jammu and Kashmir for their personal gains. In a meeting of executive members of the Forum organized here on Tuesday, President UKF, Bharat Raina cautioned the people of Jammu and Kashmir against the forces having vested interest in violence. " There are vested interests who would try every thing to sabotage the movement of revival of Kashmiriyat but at the same time we need to be very cautious and do everything in watering the roots of the age old composite culture of the place," Raina added. Expressing apprehension of sabotage at the hands of vested interests, Raina said that the present situation has become an industry for so many people across the state as a result of which they sabotage every endeavor made in restoring peace and tranquility in the state. " The vested interests would try to put forward every bottleneck in the cause of reviving Kashmiriyat and the recent statement of Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad at Ganderbal in which he said that some people holding important positions in our society want the pot of violence to remain boiling, clearly proves this fact," Raina added. On the occasion, Chief spokesman J.N. Sagar stressed upon the members of both the communities to remain united at this jucture when leaders of some political parties are issuing divisive slogans merely to consolidate their vote banks. Others who attended the meeting included Imran Shah, Ali Mohammed Makroo, Mohammed Aslam Dar, Tahir Mehraj and others. |
