| MVD organizes painting competition | | | Early Times Reporter

As a part of “Road Safety Awareness Programme 2008” the Motor Vehicle Department organized painting competition at SRTC Complex, Rail Head Complex.
In this painting competition, students of at least nine schools of Jammu city participated and exhibit their painting talent on Road Safety measures.
P S Gill, Director General, Transport was the chief guest while F C Bhagat, Regional Transport Officer were also present in painting competition.
P S Gill while speaking on an occasion appreciated the initiative of Motor Vehicle Department for organizing Road Safety Awareness Programme to educate the people about the traffic rules and measures for security and safety.
He informed that the awareness programme started from the last month by the Motor Vehicle Department in which rally on Road safety and other programme in this connection were organized. F C Bhagat also spoke on the occasion and stress for road safety measures.
Later, the certificate, prizes among the winners and participates were also be distributed. |
