| Kishtwar Graduate in-service engineers hold meet | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of all J&K (Inservice) Graduate Engineers Association (Civil) unit District: Doda district: Kishtwar was held at Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Er. M.M.Shahnawaz President of District units (Kishtwar & Doda. The meeting was attended by a large number of inservice engineers of both the wings (R&B and Hydraulic) of all cadre’s, J.E, A.E, A.E.E and executive engineers. Various problems faced by the Engineers were discussed threadbare. It was unanimously decided that the unit will support the central body and state bdy led by Er. Mujib Ahmed Tak (President) in fighting for getting the long pending demands fulfilled at an earliest. The unit fully supports all the demands put forth by the association to the government.
The unit appeals to government to sanction running cadre at par with the MBBS and B.V.Sc Doctrs and to regularize the services of engineers at all levels that is from AE to CE level. The association has also appealed to the government to take the Hydroelectric projects of Rattle, Keru, Kwar and Karthie in Kishtwar District through state power development Corporation. The association has further demanded separate identity of graduate engineers at entry level (JE level) with separate high grade..
