Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council S.Arvinder Singh Micky has stressed the concerned agencies to take effective, early and comprehensive measures to restore street lights in Jammu city.
The Deputy Chairman during a meeting with senior officers of PDD and Jammu Municipal Corporation expressed his feelings regarding inconveniences faced by people due to non-functioning of street lights in various localities of the city. He also directed the authorities to replace 50 years old standing poles as they have the potential to cause loss to human lives and property during storms and windy season. |
