| Law Deptt to face Physical Education in Volleyball final today | | Inter-Department Sports Meet of JU | | Early Times Reporter

Winning their respective semi-finals today, Department of Physical Education and Department of Law shall be face to face in the final of volleyball tomorrow in the ongoing Inter-Department Sports Meet of University of Jammu here.
Earlier, in the semi-finals played today, Physical Education spikers turned the tables against Law School beating latter in straight sets 25-16, 25-17. Anil Sharma and Vishal played fine game for the winners Physical Education Department hitting power packed smashes throughout. From Law School, Yog Raj Singh defended well.
In the second semi-final, Department of Law outplayed Department of Urdu 2-1 in a close contest despite superb performance by Kamaran Bhatt. Law Department fought from behind after losing the opening set 19-25 to Urdu Department, courtesy a brilliant game played by Kamaran Bhat. However, Syed Wajarat Ali did a good job and helped the side salvage a victory and also berth in the final.
Now, in the final, Department of Physical Education shall meet Department of Law at 10.30 am tomorrow at the University of Jammu grounds.
