| Lineman Union appeals CM to settle the problems | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of J&K electric department Lineman and workers union was held under the chairmanship of Madan Lal Chalotra where several problems were discussed.
As per press release, the Union denounces hartal which is going for last 26 days and added that the people are badly suffering. The union appealed to the Chief Minister to intervene into the matter and settle the problems and genuine demands of the employees at an earliest. The union also demanded implementation of SRO 149 of 1973 which covers all the pay anomalies of the employees of all cadres. Those who were present in the meeting include Tara Chand, Ram Sharma, Mangat Ram, Girdhari Lal, Gian Chand, Manohar Lal, Brij Pal, Jagdish Raj and others. |
