| Admission in M. Ed course vindicates BJP’s stand, Khajuria | | | Early Times Reporter

The decision of the Jammu University authorities to grant admission to all the eligible candidates from Jammu province to M. Ed course run by it is the vindication of the BJP’s stand that the said authorities did commit a serious mistake by granting admission to nearly 200 candidates from Kashmir. He said Jammu University which extends from Ravi to Pirpanjal was established only after the decades of struggle of Jammuties and the supreme sacrifices made by five students who got martyred by the state police. He further said this University was established to meet the educational needs of the Jammu youth who had been hitherto denied admission in their own region.
Ashok Khajuria said there are certain elements in the government and semi-government institutions located in Jammu province, who have been harming the interests of Jammu and outraging the sensitivities of its people by dancing to the tunes of their Kashmiri masters to further their own interests. He asked the University authorities and similar other elements not to play with the emotions of the Jammu people and once again reiterated the demand that the admissions made illegally be cancelled and the said candidates should be asked to seek admission in the Kashmir University which is also running M. Ed courses. |
