| Coalition govt betraying people of the state | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 23 Hitting hard the present coalition government of betraying the people of the state especially those residing in the far flung areas of the state, Abdul Karim Wani, Senior National Conference leader from Inderwal area of District Kishtwar has alleged that malpractices and bungling are being carried out in different administrative departments in Inderwal Assembly constituency. He however demanded judicial inquiry over the alleged bungling in administration in Inderwal assembly constituency. Speaking in a press conference here on Wednesday, Abdul Karim Wani said that “The administrative anarchy is at its peak”. “All the norms and rules were violated as if they never exist. It seems as if the officers and staff of the various Govt. departments in the constituency are employee of the some leaders, who use to dictate his terms, his likings and disliking giving benefits to his few henchmen, he said. He further alleged that the level of administrative anarchy and mis-governance has crossed all its limits, which has further added to the woes of the people of this remote far flung and backward area. “The present coalition government headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad failed to deliver and come upto the expectations of the people even of his own district what to say of the state”, he claimed. “What is more important than fulfilling all those promises which they (Congress-PDP) have made with the people, but is unfortunate to see that all those promises of Mr. Gh. Nabi Azad have yet to see the light of the day”. Highlighting various issues, he informed that Anganwari centers opened in the houses of leaders own loyal party workers, poor people in the name of providing job cards under NREGS cheated by some vested interest, poor pensioners in the constituency are suffering badly as no pension of what ever kind is being disbursed to them, concering officels demands huge sum from poor people of this backward area for regularizing the land under Roshni Act, no compensation to the land owners whose land was taken over by the govt. department for PMRGS roads and other link roads. He further informed that BPL, Anpurna Scheme (Ration cards) and other schemes were made only for henchmen and the genuine families are deprived of such schemes which he said need to be ascertained through a commission of enquiry, a large number of villages in this far flung and remote constituency are without electricity, health facilities, ration and others. A deputation of prominent persons also met Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar in this regard and apprised him of all the situation prevailing in the Inderwal constituency, but no action has been taken as yet, he informed. He said with all this the poor people of Inderwal are suffering badly as the area witnessed no development during the present regime. NC leader demanded that a judicial enquiry at the earliest against the alleging bungling, mis-governance in Inderwal. “If the government will not appoint a commission of enquiry, party will file a cases in the State Accountability Commission against such persons, officers those who arc political associated and are involved in these scams and scandals”, he warned. |
