| Swami Vivekanand boys win TT, Badminton titles | | Inter-Hostel competitions of JU | | Early Times Reporter

Swami Vivekanand Hostel clinched both Badminton and Table Tennis titles in men’s Inter-Hostel competitions of University of Jammu organized by the Department of Physical Education at Gymnasium Hall, here today.
In Badminton, Swami Vivekanand Hostel trounced Boys Hostel Old Campus 2-0. In first singles, Sourav Sharma beat Karan 21-12, 21-10 while in second singles, Lovjeet Sing bt Atul 21-18, 21-9.
The Table Tennis title also went in favour of Swami Vivekanand Hostel after they beat Nehru Hostel 2-0. The results: Lovjeet Sing bt Sunil Sharma rather easily 11-6, 11-4. Bhanu Partap outplayed Vijay Sharma in straight easy sets 11-2, 11-0 to guide Swami Vivekanand Hostel to title win.
Matches were conducted by Ravi Vaid and Rajan Tah under the guidance of Ramesh Sharma, incharge PTI campus. |
