| Sports meet for JU teachers’ from April 29 | | | Early Times Reporter

Likewise last year, the Department of Physical Education is holding a two-day sports meet exclusively for the teachers of the University of Jammu (JU) at the Gymnasium Hall of the JU, here from April 29.
The important feature of this year’s sports meet is that as many as eight female teachers have come forward to take part in three events of Table Tennis, Badminton and Caroom being organized during the two-day sports meet.
“As compare to previous year, the response of the teachers in sports meet is encouraging. We have already received 20 entries in men section and eight in women section,” incharge campus PTI, Ramesh Sharma told Sports & Allied News.
Otherwise busy during day time, these teachers will be competing for the top honours in the evening hours from 4 pm onwards, informed Sharma. |
