The victim was Rishi Kumar Koushal, former MLA and patron Praja Parishad who have lost hearing sense and using hearing aid. According to sources, the security staff deployed at Matrika Auditorium of SMVDU on the occasion of its first convocation ceremony took away the hearing device of Koushal due to security reasons and only then allowed him to enter the hall. Later, when Koushal tried to highlight the matter with Chief Minister, when he was about to start his address at convocation ceremony, he was whisked away by the security staff and the whole episode was mutely witnessed by Chief Minister and even Prime Minister also but without uttering even a single word in sympathy to the veteran leader. |
