| Infantry Brigade organizes animal husbandry camp | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 26 The 191 Infantry Brigade organized a three months long Animal Husbandry camp under Op Sadbhavana. Twenty seven unemployed youths of local area were taught the basic veterinary care, feeding and upbringing of animals. Classes were conducted by seven veterinary doctors. Of these two were from veterinary corps of the Army. The students from far flung areas have been provided with accommodation and meals free of cost. The practical training was also imparted to these students by arranging veterinary hospital visit to Jammu which has boosted their interest and besides that army has also promised to help them in opening their own dairy, even getting loan sanction from banks so that finance should not act as a constraint in their dreams. The local populace has been most appreciative of this gesture of the Army and they profusely thanked the Army. |
