Mukhtar and Aquib Khan have made it into the junior boys’ final in the ongoing District Srinagar Carrom Championship organized by J&K Carrom Association at Polo Ground, here today.
Earlier, in the semi-finals played today, Mukhtar defeated Younis Khaliq while Aquib Khan trounced Irshad Bin Hamid.
In the junior girls’ category, Sahraish will be playing against Rohina in the final. Shabnum Ahad and Sumara Jan have qualified for the final of senior girls. In the semi-finals played today, Shabnum beat Imra while Sumara Jan outplayed Mehjabeen.
Meanwhile, semi-finals line-up has been drawn in the senior boys group with Aamir Mian, Umar Mehraj, Adil and Danish making it into the last four stages. Now, in the semi-finals, Adil shall be playing against Danish while Aamir Mian outplayed Umar Mehraj.
Today’s matches were officiated by Dawar, Burhan, Sheikh Saquib, R A Khan, Adnan, Danish, Tasleema, Niyma Khan, Naseema, Umar Mehraj and Gurdial Singh. |
