| PDP leader seeks approval on roads | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 26 Senior leader of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) Mumtaz Kousar has demanded approval of various roads and bridges in forthcoming meeting of District Development Board (DDB). In a statement issued here today, Kousar demanded roads in Gulabgarh constituency should be taken under Prime Minister Gramin Rozgar Yojza to expedite the development work. She demanded construction of road from Baggamarh to Badermore. She also demanded construction of roads from Suksher toBalmkote, Sunghri to Loat, Manjikote to Bagodass, Hamson to Bagankote via Malikote. PDP leader said that conditions of most of the existing roads are in deplorable conditions and it is need of the hour to repair these roads as early as possible. She said that it is due to the conditions of roads that accidents become a routine affair. Highlighting hardship being faced by the residents due to non availability of roads, she appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Reasi to get the foot bridges approved in the next DDB meeting to mitigate woes of the masses. She demanded foot bridge on Sangore to Salar on Bagadas Nullah and Gulabgarh Nullah. |
