After cricketing legends and badshah khan it is the turn of beauty queens to join the debate on cheerleaders and their brand of dancing. On Monday Miss India Earth Tanvi Vyas came out in support of the concept of cheerleaders and asked audience try not to see too much of vulgarity in it. Interacting with media men on the sidelines of a function organized by Flying Cats to launch fresh courses in Jammu, Tanvi gave a sound piece of advice to those who have raised ‘hulla baloo’ against leg shaking cheer leaders-the most visible feature of the newly launched IPL 20-20 cricket tournament.
“Do not see any kind of vulgarity in it as it goes with the cricket. I can only say that dancing cheerleaders are not promoting any kind of vulgarity. They are just entertaining audience gathered here inside the cricket stadia to enjoy game of cricket. Miss India (Earth) Vyas said that lot depends on the individual choice as well in situations like these. She repeated trademark phrase ‘beauty lies in the eyes of beholder’. She said as long as people are satisfied and enjoying their brand of cricket no one is going to stop the practice and get embroiled in morality debate. She said if some section of audience feel outraged and have raised objections it is their personnel opinion and it is a healthy sign. No one is asking cheerleaders to promote vulgarity. Every individual has a choice and freedom to choose and watch programmes of his /her own interest, she added.
She further briefed everyone about how grooming is important in today’s time and the key to success in nay service is groomed personality in aviation and retail industry .
Centre director Flying Cats, Jammu Narinder stated that he has taken over the baton to train and groom the youth from Jammu not only for aviation industry but to accomplish the mission of training a smarter India. He further stated that the institute is targeting not only the younger breed from Jammu but from all over the state to join flying cats and global retail school and get prepared for jobs in these emerging sectors.
