Coalition government is committed to develop all the neglected areas at par with towns and cities by providing road connectivity, healthcare, educational infrastructure, drinking water, electricity and irrigation facilities stated Minister for Finance, Housing and Urban Development. Tariq Hameed Qarra .after inaugurating the Matador Stand and By-Pass link road including deep drain at Vijaypur, completed at a cost of Rs. 19.85 lakh under Integrated Development of Medium towns' scheme.
. He futher said that during five and half years tenure of coalition government, massive development has been registered in every sector particularly in H&UD sector. He said that on the completion of By-Pass link road, a long pending demand of the Vijaypur people has been fulfilled. To complete the ongoing development projects within prescribed time frame, he said that the government has provided sufficient funds in every sector. He asked the engineers to use quality material on development works, the resolve of government to create durable assets. He said that the objective of the coalition government is peace and development.
Minister of State for PHE, I&FC and CAPD also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the achievements of the coalition government. To facilitate the devotees of Chamblayal and Swankha temples, he informed that the government has sanctioned Rs. 4 crore for improvement and maintenance of link road upto the mark. He informed that government has also released Rs. 5 lakh each for Ramgarh, Vijaypur and Bari Brahamna municipal committees of Vijaypur constituency to carry out minor works of their respective areas.
For the treatment of the ailing patents, Mr. Singh said that coalition government has sanctioned Rs. 6.5 crore for construction of District Hospital at Ramgarh and Accidental Hospital at Vijaypur, the construction work of both the hospitals is under progress. To improve the power scenario in the constituency, the government has already commissioned ten power stations besides scores of transformers were upgraded, he added.
A large number of people of Vijaypur, Ramgarh and Bari Brahamna met the Ministers and put-forth their demands which included maintenance of interior lanes and drains, construction of bus stand at Ramgarh, Community Hall, Park and Public Convenience at Vijaypur, installation of Mass lights at VIjaypur main chowks and blacktopping of old By-pass link road. They gave patient hearing and assured that these would be looked into at the earliest. Later, Minister for H&UD inspected the proposed site for construction of 58 Kiosks at Rail Head.
During visit, the Vice Chairman JDA informed the Minister that funds are available for construction of Kiosks, construction work of which would start soon. He informed that 165 Kiosks has been completed at a cost of Rs. 80.68 lakh at Rail Head. The allotment would be made to allottees by drawing lotteries as per JDA norms, he added.
Minister of State for PHE, I&FC and CAPD S. Manjeet Singh, Presidents of Municipal Committees of Bari Brahamna, Ramgarh and Vijaypur, Executive Officer Municipal Committee, Bari Brahamna Mr. K. K. Chalotra, Executive Engineer Urban Local Bodies Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma and other senior officers of Urban Local Bodies, R&B, PHE, RDD, PDD were present on the occasion. |
