City police today held a drug peddler and recovered one hundred and fifty capsules besides twenty bottles of Corex syrup from his possession here. Giving details sources said that on a tip off city police led by in charge police post Residency Road Rajeshwar Singh and SHO Jatinder Singh Sambyal under the supervision of SDPO Swatantrta Arora laid a trap at Jogi Gate and nabbed drug peddler identified as Mohd Azam s/o Ghulam Mohd r/o Srinagar at present Gujjar Nagar and recovered one hundred and fifty intoxicant capsules besides twenty bottles of Corex from his possession. The accused purchased the intoxicants from Pathankote and was selling them in the city areas, source maintained. |
