| Debt relief package to farmers a historic decision: Randhir | | | Early Times Reporter

Describing the debt relief package of Rs.60,000 crore to the farmers a historic decision, the former Minister and Nationalist Congress Party President Thakur Randhir Singh has hoped that this measure would give a new lease of life to the farmers who are the backbone of the country.
Addressing a rally at village Salehar in RS Pura, Randhir Singh expressed gratitude to the Union Agriculture Minister for fulfilling his commitment to bring the farming community out of distress and gloom by sanctioning 5000 mobile soil testing labs which are very useful to the farmers especially in the far flung areas. He asked the state governments to ensure the benefits of debt waiver package and other concessions to the farmers immediately.
On this occasion some local leaders are reported to have joined the NCP. Those who joined the party included Sham Lal, Bir Bhan Singh, Rakesh Pandit, S. Pall Singh, Rajeshwar Singh Charak and Rakesh Sharma. |
