Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti celebrates "Baisakhi" with "Matra Pitra Poojan"

JAMMU, Apr 14: A grand festival "Baisakhi" was celebrated at Bari Brahmana, Jammu . The event was organized by Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, Jammu Kashmir. People from various walks of life attended the event with great fervor and deity.
Janak Shastri ji Maharaj was the Chief Guest whereas Acharya Dinesh Sharma and Deepak Sharma ji was also present and witnessed the function. The function started at 12:00 pm with vedic mantras.
Thereafter sermons from Shastri Ji and Deepak Sharma ji were held. Children from all age group i.e from younger to elder ones worshipping their parents and showing their respect and gratitude towards them.
Children from various schools also participated in the function.
Speaking on the occasion Shastriji expressed that Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is the need of the hour and stressed upon daily reading of Shrimad bhagwad Gita by all for overall self development and added that greatest quality of Bhagwad Geeta is that it prompts an individual to think, to take fair and right decision, to look at life differently and refreshingly without surrendering one's identity. Shastriji lauded the efforts of the Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti for organizing event as Mahotsav.
The National Co-ordinator of the Samiti Sunil Sharma informed that over the years, many initiatives have been launched by Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti to expand the knowledge of the sacred scripture- Bhagwat Gita which can infuse the feelings of love for humanity and God in every body.
For the last six years Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti launched one more service towards society i.e. free distribution of this Granth ( not book) in the society to spread the message of Lord Krishna on the directions and teachings of Bhrahm-gyani Guruji.
