| Forest division organizes plantation in court complex | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Apr 15: Social Forestry Division, Doda organized plantation cum awareness programme in Doda on Monday here.
Plantation drive was launched by planting of different species in the Court complex Doda by the dignitaries and participants. The plantation cum awareness drive was also aimed at imparting awareness to the participants to work in collaboration with each other and in co-ordinated manner to achieve better result in growing more and more trees and safeguarding the green wealth which would also address long term environmental concerns.
Talking to Early Times, the importance of plantation of plants in preserving ecological balance and combating pollution. He stressed upon different departments to work for increasing green cover. Forest departement appealed to spread the message of importance of forests and role played by plants in preserving the fragile mountain ecosystem among local residents.
Judges of District Judiciary Doda, DFO Doda, Member Secretary District Legal Services Authority, other bar members of district Judiciary Doda and forst staff participated in the programme. |
