| Puri Shankracharya to start peace mission in J-K | | | Early Times Reporter

Puri Shankracharya Jagadguru Swami Adhokshjanand Maharaj is all set to begin his peace mission in Jammu and Kashmir.
"We will organise Ati Maha Rudra yagya and Raj Rajeshwari Tripur Sundri Aradhana yagya for peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir from May 7-15," Shankracharya said here today.
The sole aim of organising these religious rituals is to ensure peace in the otherwise "trouble-torn" state, he said, adding that arrangements were being made at Deshara ground.
"The yagya and aradhana will also enlighten the minds of people with devotional and divine knowledge," he said.
He also expressed unhappiness over lack of basic amenities in and around Buddha Amarnath shrine, which was a cause of hardships to the pilgrims. |
