Welcoming the relief package announced by the Prime Minister for the displaced Kashmiri Pandit migrants during his recent visit; Kashmiri migrants have urged upon the Prime Minister for early implementation of the package.
Addressing a press conference here today, Chuni Lal Bhat, member All India Congress Committee (AICC) said that it is now clear that the government is sure to bring back the displaced Kashmiri migrants to valley and the announcement of the said relief package is a big measure in this direction.
He added that in order to avoid malpractices in the distribution of relief, the government should involve some community representatives in the entire exercise so that the utilization of funds should be done in proper manner. The members of the community also appealed to the chief minister for increase in the monthly cash assistance to the relief holders and demand to announce an employment package for the people of the displaced community.
