CJ inaugurates newly constructed District Court Complex at Samba

Samba, Apr 17: Chief Justice, High Court of J&K, Justice Gita Mittal today inaugurated the newly constructed District Court Complex at Nandini Hills, Samba. She was accompanied by Justice Sanjeev Kumar Shukla, Justice Sanjay Gupta, and Justice Sindhu Sharma, Administrative Judge for Samba District. On the occasion, ADR building and the Lawyers' Chambers were also inaugurated by the Chief Justice. The New Court Complex is equipped with latest facilities with five regular Courts in three storeys with Court rooms, separate bar rooms for male and female advocates, washrooms on each floor, child care rooms, JSC Counter, Front Office Legal Aid Clinic of District Legal Services Authority and e-kiosk. In her inaugural address, the Chief Justice stressed upon strengthening of the justice delivery system and the need for sustained efforts for ensuring the availability of justice to the common people. She also underlined the need to have an amicable work atmosphere through the use of new technology and e-library which would help Advocates in their day to day working and keep them abreast with the latest developments in the field of law. Sindhu Sharma, Administrative Judge for Samba District congratulated the District Judiciary and the Bar for the new building and called upon the stake holders to avail the full benefits of the facilities available in the court complex.
