Doda, Apr 17: Around 171 Polling Parties have been deployed across Doda district for polling in Doda and Bhaderwah Assembly segments of Udhampur Parliamentary constituency which is going to poll on April 18.
The Polling parties, including 94 for Doda and 77 for Bhaderwah along with polling material - EVMs and VVPATs left for the respective polling stations under the supervision of District Election Officer Doda Dr. Sagar D. Doifode.
Yesterday in the morning, 179 Polling Parties were deployed in far off areas of AC 53 Doda and 54 Bhaderwah in view of the adverse weather conditions.
Today 171 polling parties reported at the respective dispatch centres of Doda and Bhaderwah where Electronic Voting Machine along with Voters Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) and other election material were made available to them.
Later, accompanied by Security personnel, the presiding Officers and other team members, the polling staff left for their respective polling station to undertake the voting process, to be held on April 18 from 7 am till 6 pm evening. |
