| 31 injured in 2 mishaps | | Four critical, airlifted to GMC | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 29 Continuing with the spate of road accidents, in at least two mishaps in the region injured at least 31 passengers with four of them critically who had to be airlifted to here for advanced treatment. Reports said that 26 passengers were injured four of them critically, when a bus on way to Kishtwar from Jammu skidded off the road and rolls down in Nallah at Shalimar, here today. In a separate accident five persons including three cops were injured when a Maruti Van they were traveling in met with an accident. A passenger bus on its way to Kishtwar from Jammu skidded off the road just few kilometers short of Kishtwar at a place called Shalimar. 26 of the passengers were injured with four of them critically. The injured were immediately shifted the injured to District Hospital Kishtwar where doctors term the condition of four injured as critical and were referred to Jammu. Meanwhile, five persons including two police personnel and an Ex-service man suffered injuries when a Maruti Van (211/JK02L) skidded off the road and rolled down about 200 feet in gorge near Pul Doda this evening. The ill fated vehicle was on way back from Pul Doda Market to PP Doda when it met with an accident. |
