Court frames charges against store-keeper, Ors in misappropriation case

Special Judge Anticorruption Mr. Kartar Singh today framed corruption and misappropriation charges against Javid Iqbal Mir the then Store-keeper Rice Mill Chatta and Hari Lal the then Accountant Tehsil Cooperative Society Jammu.
In the order it has been held that the accused Javid Iqbal Mir during his posting as Store Keeper rice Mill Chatha between1998-99 intentionally misappropriated impress advance of thousands of rupees entrusted to him in the capacity of public servant. The accused Javid Iqbal Mir in conspiracy with Hari Lal Accountant then posted in Tehsil Cooperative Society Jammu got the records, regarding misappropriation, destroyed with a view to cause disappearance of evidence.
The VOJ Organization after investigation of the case had presented the challan in the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption Jammu.
Special Judge Anticorruption, after considering the record of the case, framed charges against both the accused u/s 5 (2) PC Act 2006 r/w section 409, 201 and 120-B RPC and directed for trial of the accused. JNF
