| Emotional adieu to Dy Dir. Inf. M. S Dar | | | Early Times Reporter

Deputy Director Information (PR), Jammu Mr. Mohammad Shafi Dar was accorded an emotional and warm farewell on his superannuation after rendering 37 years and 4 months service in the State Information Department in various capacities here today.
Joint Director Information, Jammu Mr. S. K. Sharma, Field Publicity Officer, Jammu Mr. Thakur Singh, District Information Officer, Kathua Mr. Suram chand Sharma, Editor Yojana Mrs. Namrita Dogra, Cultural Officer, Jammu Mrs. Afshan Masood, Youth Information Officer, Jammu Mr. Mohd Hussain, Photo Officer, Jammu Mr. B. D. Sharma, Section Officer Mr. R. K. Bhalla and other senior officers and officials were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sharma lauded the services of Mr. Dar at different level like District Information Officer, Doda, Poonch, Rajouri and Assistant Director (AV). Presently he was working as Deputy Director Information (PR), Jammu. He said that Mr. Dar always fought for the cause of ministerial staff and he is not only a senior officer but also a social reformer. He said that Mr. Dar have served with great dedication, hardwork, punctuality and impressed upon the other colleagues to follow his footsteps in working with a sense of duty and sincerity. He received kudos from his colleagues, seniors and juniors for his polite and tolerant nature.
Afshan Masood, Mr. Bishan Dass and Mr. Bhalla also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the services of the Deputy Director Information Mr. Dar.
Dar expressed his views over the functioning of the department and shared his experiences working in different cadres during 37 years and 4 months long tenure of service. He thanked the colleagues emotionally for their love and affection.
On the occasion, artists of Cultural Wing of Information Department also presented a soulful emotional cultural programme, which brought tears in the eyes of every body.
District Information Officer Udhampur Mr. Jagdish Mehra and District Information Officer Kathua alongwith staff members of the Districts also extended heartfelt felicitations on the superannuation of Mr. Dar.
On the occasion, a get-together was also organized. |
