| IGNOU decentralizes distributing course material | | | Early Times Reporter

In a bid to smoothen the operations and improve the support services to the students registered with IGNOU, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. V N. Rajsekharan Pillai has taken a decision to decentralize the functioning of distribution of course material to the students of the concerned regional centres. The action has been duly ratified by the Board Management of IGNOU.
As per a press release, all the regional centres of IGNOU will have warehouse attached with them where a material stock of all the programmes and courses of IGNOU will be stored and will be available throughout the year.
Students registered with regional centre will be provided course material sets either from the regional centre or from the respective learner centres where they are attached on the day of induction session and well before the counseling sessions begins, the release added. |
