| DCC expresses shock over Kishtwar incident | | | Early Times Reporter

In a meeting of Distt Congress Committee presided over by senior party leader Naresh Gupta; the killings of labourers at Kishtwar while working was condoled.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta expressed sympathy to the families of the deceased. The participants at the meeting south strict action from GREF authorities against the erring and negligent officers in this concern.
They appealed to the Chief Minister to take up the matter with the GREF authorities for ensuring proper safety equipments to the labourers henceforth as per labour laws. Immediate payment of Ex-Gratia to the families of deceased was demanded by the Committee members unanimously. Those present on the occasion included Jugal Kotwal, Salim Malik, Naveen Kotwal and Abdul Qaoom Khan. |
