| JURSA seeks extension in screening exam of Naib Tehsildars | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 2 Jammu University Research Scholars Association has sought extension in the screening examination of the Naib Tehsildars as majority of the aspiring candidates are yet to receive their roll numbers and the admit cards. Stating this at a press conference here today, Vikas Sharma President of the Association said though the recruitment process for filling up the posts of Naib Tehsildars was started much earlier but due to the faulty distribution method, a large number of candidates appearing in the examination have not received their roll numbers and the admit cards till date. He suggested that the roll numbers should be issued to the aspiring candidates at the Board Office itself without any further delay to enable them to appear in the examination. Sharma said though the selection list of Patwaries, for which the recruitment process was started as back as in December 2005, has been released in respect of all the districts the similar selection list for Jammu and Udhampur districts were still pending and demanded its early release. The Association President alleged that the recruiting agencies were selecting only the blue eyed persons while the deserving educated youth were being deprived of their rights. Swarn Singh, Rakesh Chib and Aman Sharma were also present at the press conference. |
