MENDHAR, Apr 25: Local villagers of Lower Ari staged protest against worst condition of PMGSY road from Tala Kassi to Bhera in Mendhar Sub division of Poonch district, which is under construction for the last several years. According to the villagers, this is the only road which connects them with Mendhar and other localities of the area. Though public has registered complaints to the department a number of time and even in Meri Sadak app, no action was taken against the contactor. "In the rainy season, condition of this road is so worse that we can't walk on this while children find them unable to reach schools," the villages rued. |
