Jammu, Apr 25: The investiture ceremony for the academic session 2019-20 was held at Sainik School Nagrota at School Auditorium.
Commodore G Rambabu, Inspecting Officer, Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi was chief guest on the occasion. The new house appointments include Junior as well as Senior House Captains of Trikuta, Chenab, Sindh and Jhelum Houses and the school appointments are Cadet Manish Kumar of Class XI, School Adjutant, and Cadet Akash Thakur, School Captain.
The new cadet captain has the distinction of being selected for NCC Youth Exchange Programme to Kazakisthan this year.
Chief Guest urged the cadets, staff and School administration to strive hard towards overall improvement of NDA as well as CBSE Board results of the school. He has extended his compliments to the teachers, administrative staff and GEs for maintaining a colourful and vibrant school campus. He further emphasized that the appointments must be unbiased in dealing with the fellow cadets and set exemplary standards of discipline for others to emulate. Parents of many of the cadet appointments were also present on this occasion. |
