| DYSS Postgraduate Forum hails Sports Minister | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of Postgraduate Forum of the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), attended by a large number of members from Jammu, Udhampur, Doda and Kathua, held at district Kathua today.
The members of the Forum expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to the Minister for Sports, Haji Nissar Ali in issuing the recent historic order granting lectureship in physical education to Physical Education Masters and Physical Education Teachers. The members also hailed the promotions and placements in the administrative cadres in the Department.
Speaking to the delegates from different districts, the Forum president appealed the concerned authorities to start physical education as a curricular subject in the schools at Plus-Two level right from ensuing session, to add to good health of sports in the state.
Meanwhile, the members of the Forum expressed their indebtedness to the Field Staff Association for sowing the seeds of reorganization some 15 years back. |
