While felicitating the medalist skaters in a function held here on Thursday at Shiva Roller Skating Rink Peerkho, President J&K Roller Skating Association G.S Khurmi, the Chief Guest on the occasion, lauded the young skaters for their matchless performance in the national skating arena. He said that the outstanding show of skating skill and endurance by these skaters has raised hopes that J&K will soon become top stakeholder as far as medal tally in the national and international events is concerned. Er. Ratnesh Puri (AEE PDD), a parent of two champion skaters Kartikeya Puri ( two gold medals and one silver) and Puneesh Puri (two gold medals and one bronze) appreciated the entire team of Indian Hawks Roller Skating Club especially ace skater Arjun Gandotra for inspiring young skaters and giving special tips necessary for excelling in speed skating. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr Rakesh Shan, a parent of another medalist skater namely Ranveer Shan.
