| Deputy Commissioner convenes meeting on traffic problem | | | DODA, Apr 25: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D. Doifode- convened a meeting at DC office to ensure smooth flow of traffic, removal of illegal parking and dumps of waste management and encroachment.
Detailed discussions were held regarding decongestion of Doda town which will include removal of unauthorised encroachments on roads and footpaths, removal of vendors from key crossings, creation of paid parking lots at various places, regulation of traffic etc.
He also directed municipal committee for further improfavsdement in waste management by notifying three wards under municipal limits of Doda where segregation of waste i.e wet and dry waste will be segregated and collected from the notified wards and same will be dumped in the dumping grosdfund accordingly. Further D33DC Doda directed the Executive Officer to ban all the illegal reheries in the town and issue fresh license to the rehries through drawl system and also directed the authoritie22s to notify the areas from where paid parking system will be initiated within days. SSP Mohd Shabir Malik, ASP Popsy, President Municipal Committee Ved Prakash Gupta along wit2h Counsellors, ARTO Doda, DySP DAR Doda, DTI Doda and other officials of the allied departments also attended the meeting. |
