Swastik Institute holds seminar on AUPP

A highly informative seminar on the concept of Australian Unified Pathway Program (AUPP) of education in Information Technology was organized here today by Swastik Institute of International Studies, the franchise holder of AUPP in Jammu.
Under the AUPP, Swastik Institute of International Studies is imparting one year training in higher information technology at its Jammu campus to the students enrolled by it, after which they are sent to Australia for further training in the discipline in some highly prestigious university in that country. The institute has already imparted one year training to 1st batch of 16 students, who are now being sent to Australia for further training in Information Technology.
A large number of academicians, including heads and faculty members of various government and private Higher Secondary Schools as well as parents of outgoing trainees and of the prospective students and student community participated in the seminar. Sh. Suresh Sharma Chief School Education Officer district Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion, in his address he highly appreciated the venture undertaken by Swastik Institute of education in imparting training in Information Technology to the 10+2 pass students in its Jammu campus and later in Australia, which opens vista of employment opportunities for them in Australia, USA and other European countries as well as back home.
Earlier Mrs. Girja Kaul, Counselor of the institution presented the welcome address to the guests. Mr. Ashok Pai AUPP Coordinator and Director Swastik Institute of International Studies, Jammu gave detailed lecture on the concept of AUPP and its benefits to the students, who can get plenty of opportunities of highly paying jobs in the global market, after acquiring three years training in the information technology through this program. The participants were also given demonstration on projector slides about the entire concept. Sh. Pawan Shastri Chairman of SIIS presented the vote of thanks.
