To continue its efforts to help the poor students of the society the Punjab National Bank (PNB) today handed over a cheque to Head Mistress of Government middle school Balbiana, here today.
The cheque was donated by the Zonal Manager, PNB, Vivek Arya, meant for the payment of fee, cost of books, uniforms and the stationery items needed for the seven poor children of the school for the current session.
Speaking on the occasion, Arya said that since the demand for bearing the education expenses was made by the villagers. He further added that in order to spreading the knowledge and literacy among the poor students of the school, the bank would also donate a computer.
