Class IV Excise employees strike enters 41st day

Jammu aug-29- Protest demonstration by the all Jammu and Kashmir Excise and Commercial class IV employees union continued on the 41st day here today.
The employees leaders including its Vice President Surinder Sharma and Nazir Ahmed General Secretary and the acting President while addressing the employees reminded the government to fulfill its commitments made with the agitating employees and stop new recruitments against the posts held by them for the last several years.
The Association has sought Chief Minister’s personal intervention in the matter and hoped that fresh recruitments against the posts held by them would be stopped forthwith and those working for the last couple of years are regularized so save them from starvation.
