"If Mufti Mohmmed Sayeed could explain the benefits of implementing Pakistani currency, I will join him in support of the demand but Pakistan Currency has no utility here as we have been buying foreign products with Indian currency so there no logic in it, it is mere vote bank slogan to betray gullible people of Kashmir," added Umar Abdullah. Lunching scathing attack on coalition government, Omar said that he has never tired to play trash politics by misleading people with false propaganda but his party wanted to peace and development in the state.
"PDP and Congress would be hold accountable for their work in five years tenure. As they talked about the investigations in the custodial killings, disappearances and now the mass unidentified graves, they could not do anything," mocked Omer

"Coalition government promised two jobs per family but not even a single was provided to the people but if we would be voted to power we will try to provide job to one member of each family and will bring companies from out side state generate employment avenues for the unemployed people here ,' said Omar.
While talking to scribes after the rally, Omar said that his party wants impartial probe, reconciliation and formation of independent fact finding commission to find out the truth about unidentified graves in which people from Pakistan and India have a joint role so that people from both the sides of Kashmir can know the reality.
When asked that PDP blamed that ban on government jobs was signed by NC with New Delhi, Omar while admitting that his party signed the ban on government jobs in state said, "We were compelled by circumstances to sign the ban on government jobs as New Delhi denied us they would not approve their plan, PDP could have scrapped it but they did not."
Omar in reply to question about the killing of 9th class student in Kupwara, said that human rights violation continued unabated and coalition government failed to fulfill there promise of zero tolerance.
