| RJD flays issuance of fake voter IDs | | Terms it an attack on Art 370 provisions | | Early Times Reporter

“The case of voter cards issued to the non-state subjects is a serious infringement upon the unique status under Art. 370.” This was stated by Syed Ghulam Ahmed Forah, State President Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) while addressing a press conference here today. He alleged such attempts by vested interests of some political parties were targeted at diluting the demographic nature of J&K state.
Forah further blamed that thousands of persons from other states have purchased immovable property in our state by illegal means. He strongly lambasted upon BJP and NC leadership for fomenting regional feelings for their own political survival in the state.
RJD leaders demanded cancellation of illegal voter identity cards and strict action against the concerned officials. |
