Kathua police today held a person who was impersonating himself as eunuch and was extorting money from people.
Giving details sources said that Kathua police had been receiving complaints that an eunuch who was active in area was extorting money from the people. A police team led by ASP Benam Tosh laid trap and arrested him. During interrogation, he said that his name was Madhu Thapa of 15 years S/o Dinesh Thapa r/o Nepal and he adopted the mean to extort money from people thinking it as an easy way. A case under section 452, 419, 420, 504, 509 RPC has been registered against him in this regard. |
