To condole the sad demise of internationally acclaimed Tabla Maestro from Banaras, Pt. Kishan Maharaj, a meeting was held in the Department of student welfare, Jammu University.
His contribution towards the Indian classical music was remembered. While paying rich tributes, university fraternity prayed to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Those who presented on the occasion included Vice Chancellor Jammu Universioty, Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Dr. PS Pathania , Dean Student Welfare, Prof. NR Sharma, Chairman Campus cultural Committee , Vijay Atri, Asstt. Dean, and Vinay Sharma. |
