| CCC thrashes JJSFCC by 7 wickets | | | Early Times Reporter

Challengers Cricket Club (CCC) thrashed JJSF Cricket Club (JJSFCC) by 7 wickets in the final match of Nishu Memorial Cricket tournament being played at GGM Science College Cricket ground. The tournament was being organized by JJSF.
JJSSFCC after wining the toss elected to bat first. Batting first, JJSFCC scored 121 runs in 19.3 overs. Aman of JJSFCC scored 29 runs while Rawat and Ashok contributed 27 runs each.
Dilbagh of CCC took 3 wickets while Sameer and Ashok grabbed 2 wickets each.
Chasing the target of 122 runs CCC won the match by 7 wickets. Sanjeev of CCC scores 33 runs while Sameer and Madan scored 26 and 13 runs.
Atul and Aman of JJSFCC took 1 wicket each. Sumit was declared man of the match.
Father of Nishu Jamwal, Satpal was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed trophies among the winners and first runner up teams. JJSF gave cash reward of Rs 2500 to winner team and Rs 1500 to first runner up team.
Rawat Manhas was declared Man of the Series for his all round performance. |
