| Linemen meet power commissioner | | | Early Times Reporter

A deputation of J&K Electric Department Lineman and Workers Union met the Chief Engineer, System & Operation Raj Kumar Shalley, who assumed the charge of Development Commissioner Power. The deputation consisting of Rattan Singh, President, Madan Lal Chalotra, Vice President, Suram Singh, Chief Organisor and Tara Chand, Secretary of the Union conveyed their heartiest congratulations to Raj Kumar Shalley for assuming the charge of Development Commissioner Power.
The union expressed their demands to Shalley verbally and told him that these demands were long pending. The demands included making daily wagers permanent; promotion be given through DPCs and release of salaries of the daily wagers. |
