BJP Activists of Jammu Mahanagar led by Rajesh Gupta, District President today held a massive protest demonstration at Kachi Chawni Chowk against the involvement of Speaker, J&K State Assembly and former JKPCC (I) President in the much infamous Srinagar sex scandal and role of AICC (I) President Sonia Gandhi in shielding them. The party activists burnt the effigy of Sonia Gandhi and Ghulam Nabi Azad for their role in shielding these persons.
Rajesh Gupta, while addressing the party activists on this occasion, said that this episode has exposed the true face of the Congress leadership, particularly its National President Sonia Gandhi, who talks of women empowerment and rights of the women. By protecting Congress leaders involved in the sex scandal, Sonia Gandhi has insulted the Indian women and proved that power is much more important than honour and dignity of women in the eyes of Sonia Gandhi. He demanded immediate dismissal of the Congress-led coalition in the state as it has proved to be a group of immoral people and continuation of this government will prove to be a danger for the womenfolk.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, Yudhvir Sethi, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Balbir Ram, Baldev Singh, Rajinder Sharma, Jaideep Sharma, Rakesh Gupta, Amrik Singh, Balwan Singh, Surinder Gupta, Kuldeep Kumar, Usha Choudhary, Sheela Handoo, Vinay Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Pardeep Sharma, Pranav Gupta, Parduman Singh, Ashok Dutta, Girdhari Lal, Sanjiv Gupta, Kiran Salathia, Rakesh Dogra, Jyoti Dogra, Narinder Sawhney, Naveen Kumar, Kuldeep Kandhari, Rajesh Gupta, Ajay Mehra, Dwarka Nath, Anil Masoom, Subhash Gupta and Dhan Swaroop were prominent among those who took part in the protest demonstration. |
