| Ashes of late ‘Didi’ immersed at Sita Heran | | | Early Times Reporter

The last urn containing mortal remains of renowned and noted Gandhian, Nirmala Deshpandey (Didi), were immersed in Sitar Spring at Sita Heran today.
A large gathering of people received the mortal remains of the social activist.
The mortal remains of Nirmala carried by S.P Verma, were immersed in the Sita Spring from top of Khaj mountain of world famous Tossa Maidan. Nearly 24 years ago the mortal remains of Indian Gandhi were similarly immersed in the holy waters of Sita Spring.
It may be recalled that Nirmala used to visit the area to pay obeisance at shrines of Hazreth Bulbul Shah and Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Wali. |
