India's first electric three wheelers to hit Jammu markets

German technology e-bikes and India's first electric three wheelers will soon hit Jammu markets as Lohia Group of Companies is planning to launch the two new projects in the city of temples by August.
Lohia Group of Companies, a trusted name for the past 30 years, with the rich business experience and expertise gained over the years in export, import, real estate etc, has looked at high-growth market segments in India and decided to diversify by venturing into the burgeoning electric bikes/three wheelers industry in India.
The Lohia's will launch their e-bikes and India's first ever electric three wheelers in the city by August 08.
The e-bikes will be in two ranges, one with at a speed limit of 25 km/hr and the other with the speed limit of 45-50 Kms/hr. These e-bikes will be priced in the range of Rs.25000 to Rs35000.
The electric three-wheelers will be priced in the range of Rs.40, 000/- Rs.45, 000/ with the maximum speed of 25 Km/hr.
According to Ayush Lohia, Vice-President Lohia Auto Industries told News Agency of Kashmir "The planned Investment of Lohia Auto Industries would be 150 crore in next 2 years.Lohia Auto will manufacture hi-tech electric two wheelers at the state-of-the-art plant at Kashipur, Uttrakhand with the production capacity of 3 lacs units per annum."
According to Mr. Vinay Gupta-President, Lohia Auto Industries, the eco friendly bikes which are battery operated will give our customers more mileage with a clean non-polluting, noiseless and economical means of traveling at a very low running cost of 10 paisa per Km.
