JMC organizes programme on SWM

JAMMU, May 3: A programme on Solid Waste Management was organized by JMC in collaboration with Government High School Muthi, Jammu. The Headmaster of the institution presided over the function. She welcomed the team of JMC members in her addressing the lecturers. The programme started with presentation and boque by the Headmaster to Master Jorawar Singh, representative from JMC. Master Jorawar Singh delivered lecture and given practical demonstration in the School to prepare compost from the organic waste of the house. He motivated to prepare compost even in home and sell them to earn. Students and staff were pleased to know about preparation of compost and vermin compost in urban areas of the district. The Headmaster of the school has appreciated work of JMC after addressing the lecturer from the expert. Students of the school appeal to the people that not to use polythene carry bags. They give the slogans 'Polythene Hatao Parya Waran Bacho.' The Programme coordinator Master VeerJee Koul with the coordination of Master Rakesh Sharma arranged the sitting of the students as well as outsiders to attend the programme Formal note of thanks was presented by Rekha Devi the Headmaster of the institution. The students of Govt. High School, Muthi where Ashwani Kumar, Ved Pal Sharma and other team of JMC installed the banners and posters and from High School Muthi by VeerJee Koul
