Two criminals arrested

Reasi, May 3: Police yesterday two criminal in a assault case. According to sources, an information was received at 10.30pm from District Hospital Reasi that two unknown persons have stabbed one person namely Balbir Singh son of Thakur Dass resident of Aghar Ballian Reasi a barber by profession with a sharp edged weapon(Tokka) ,who is seriously injured and is admitted in District Hospital Reasi. On this case FIR no. 84/2019 u/s 307/34/323RPC, 4/25A.Act was registered and immediately a police team led by Insp. Ashwani Sharma SHO Reasi swung into action.After recording the statement of the injured and analyzing the help of CCTV footage the accused were identified as Deepak Kumar, an auto driver by profession and Varun Kumar. On the hectic efforts of Police team, both the accused were arrested from Vijaypur Reasi jungle within 24 hours.
On the instance of the accused the weapon of offence i.e Tokka was recovered and seized.
