| Employees unhappy with PDP ministers | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 6 Employees Joint Action committee is not happy with the council of ministers especially those belonging to PDP as they feel that if these ministers cannot stop lathicharge on protesting employees they are not worth anything for them The protesting employees, who were baton charged on the opening day of the durbar move offices are highly dissatisfied with the dual policy being adopted by the PDP vis a vis their genuine demands. “We are confused with the approach of PDP towards our genuine demands. When we visit these ministers with our demands package they assure us and sell dreams. Ironcially, same ministers maintain silence when state government send police teams and beat us”, employees leaders said giving vent to their ire. On top of it few other PDP leaders issue press statements condemning police action.Today we want to ask them what is their real stand. Are they serious aboput our demands, we ask them to clarify their stand. The PDP leaders and ministers should make it clear to us whether are they well wishers of the employees or they are against them, the employees leaders questioned. “We are totally confused, employees leaders said. Some times even we are not sure what PDP ministers are doing for us, a group of leaders of the employees joint action committee said exposing the dual speak of the PDP”. Referring to statement of PDP youth president and MLC Syed Basharat Bukhari in which he had expressed concern over the police action against the protesting employees, "We want to ask what PDP ministers are doing sitting in the government.Do you mean to say that they are worth nothing and have no say in the running of the government. Employees leader said it sounds ridiculous when Bukhari held state government responsible for not fulfilling its promises and failed to mitigate the sufferings of the employees. |
